Tweaked from "Nasir's Fast Break v2.0." The biggest change here is actually dropping Personal Workshop down to two copies. Since Nasir was released, people have said it's an automatic 3-of, but in this deck, it's more just a bonus that you're happy to see when it pops up. That has so far been my, and I think everyone else's, biggest problem with Nasir: what to do when you don't see that Workshop. I now believe that with cheap breakers like Yog(asaurus, for best results) paired with early Datasucker support is the key to running as cheap as possible - Ghost Runner has made this all viable, and I will never run less than 3 copies in this deck. 3x Kati and 3x Dinosaurus are essential pieces of this deck that let Nasir play aggressive in the early game. And the better he does in the early game with building up Datasuckers, the more longevity he'll have.
The 2 Atmans are out because I found myself rarely, if ever, using them, though I can see the case for adding one back in to deal with larger more taxing ice. SMC has been dropped to 2 in favor of a Levy because you're bound to lose things you want to get back without Test Running or Clone Chipping - and since I've changed the CyberSolutions Mem Chips to Akamatsus, I don't feel like hogging up MU with too many SMCs.
Those are the things I'll be keeping an eye on as I take this one into the test realm, but this deck is still hurting for HQ multi-access, be it in the form of HQ Interface or Nerve Agent, both of which could be crippling with Sneakdoor. The problem with one-offing an HQI is that you're hardly guaranteed to see it (until Trade-In comes around!) but it doesn't cost anything except the creds to install, whereas you can tutor Nerve Agent but at a permanent cost of 1MU as long as it's on the table. I could free up influence for either by dropping a Datasucker and swapping Gordian for Yog, but that kind of softens the punch this deck packs.
I'm open for suggestions.

I'm really thinking about an HQI. It just feels right in this deck, especially with Sneakdoor. I REALLLLY don't want to give up Imp, but I will if I have to. |

Interesting to see you reduce Prof Workshop. I agree that Kati is probably crucial due to uselessness of event econ. I keep wondering if all those breakers you have are necessary. I've seen Kate builds winning tournaments with just Atman, Femme, Inti (for Wraparound), Sharpshooter and DeusX. They parasite everything below 4 strength. Then whip out Atman 4 and walk trough the most ridiculous servers. DeusX and Sharpshooter are just there to be SMCed or Clonechipped in case of emergency. You wrote that Dinosaurus is important to be aggressive early game. How so? Which breaker do find yourself installing in it? Oh, and also: Ice Analyzers! |

Ice Analyzer is bad with Nasir.

And I've found that the earlier I see Dino, the better. It's amazing the once-"bad" pieces of ice that are making a comeback these days. Everyone used to rag on Hunter but I have friends using it to great effect - so you see that, and pour yourself a glass of ice cold Mimicsaurus. I'll admit that might be a little meta-specific, but really the earlier you see Dino, the better. Say I do switch up my breaker suite to adapt the Kate tourney-winning loadout. Would it be better then to run console-less (until Astrolabe!) and fill the slots with something else? I've already made a new version that drops Corroder and Levy, and that could free up space for an additional HQI, or even a Hostage to get Kati or ProCo out when you need it. Thoughts? |

@BTrain Parasite Recursion Kates often don't have Consoles. Just Mem Chips. Here is an excellent build by the German Vice Champion. stimhack.com In case of Nasir I think Toolbox could work well too. The extra link helps with traces. I'm actually tinkering with a deck based on your build right now. I want to try Alpha for early running. Test Run it round 1 or 2 to Facecheck 1-ice servers, drop in on Workshop afterwards. I reckon unrezzed ice tends to build up outside. |

@CJFM I've seen Ice Analyzer used successfully in Kate decks. It should be even more effective in Nasir. You use it for SMC / Clone Chip shenanigans. If you have 2 of them, you can Clone Chip/Parasite a Popup Window for free. If you have 3, you can Clone Chip a DeusX. |

If you're worried about multi-HQ access,
@BTrain
, Imp could always become 1 Legwork or HQ interface, and the last influence could become Datasucker. The point of Dinosaurus is really to reduce your reliance on Datasucker, but you still need a few (and you don't want to tutor for them).If you go the legwork route, you're going to use it late in the game anyway, since you're basically preventing any corp from effectively setting up a remote, ever. Won't really need more than 1.
I wouldn't swap out the Yog unless you just want to drop Dino altogether. That's sort of your big combo for not getting blown out by Inazuma. Both versions are viable, though.
I kinda like the Atman version better, because while the extra Dino will help you draw him sooner, you're not really going to need him until later anyway. And you'll be very happy you have Atman, against CI, HB: ETF, and even Jinteki: RP. But maybe with Yog at 5, you don't need it? Test it with first and see if you need it.
LARLA isn't really necessary, since you're a tempo deck that really wants to be a few steps ahead, LARLA is a pretty big tempo hit, and hard to play with Nasir. (I find anything over 2 to be difficult to play with Nasir.)
I think the cards are mostly in the right place. Testing should help to decide in what numbers each should be.
