The credit pool is much tighter than in a glacier build (which would play the same package + 2 BBGs). You want to try to keep your sansan and score multiple agendas on it before the runner can trash it -- the biotics are just there to close out the game once you get to 5. You rarely ever play biotic twice in a game. The key of the deck is that you are overwhelming the runner with high trash costs, so they can't trash everything. Either you keep your sansan, which is great, or you keep your eve/adonis, which gives enough money to rez tollbooth in front of sansan, making ash better, or you keep your DBS, letting you find more money, etc etc. I actually think the 2nd tollbooth is more important than the 2 pop up windows. Dan told me to test with 2 pop ups so that's why they're here, but without the 2nd toll, you have to play heimdall for anything big, which is just rubbish. (The 4th barrier should be a WoS instead.) Eli and architect can be used to rush but you have to be clever about it. Adonis architect remote, runner faceplants the architect to trash adonis, put a beta test behind architect next turn. Works every time. Eli is fine for rushing a NAPD; if they click through and steal the NAPD you're still in a great spot for getting a sansan to stick later on or whatever. Make no mistake, eli, architect, and ichi are the deck's best ice. |
Thanks for posting. A few questions:
Although ETF can consistently get you a credit a turn, the money seems a bit light even considering the ice is relatively cheap (although ichi's and architects can start to add up). Fast advancing is relatively expensive, so just wondering how tight you're finding the credit pool. And if it is something that can be tight, how are you finding Ash given the robustness of runner economies these days.
Only 4 of the ice are ETR (and Turing, quasi ETR) which would seem to make it difficult to rush agendas. Do you find the never advance aspects of the agendas (outside of NAPD) allow you to rush agendas behind bioroid ice?
