This is just a primer for a deck concept that may help evolve and come up with possible decks for Valencia with Eater, Keyhole, Trope, Blackmail, and Paige Piper as the core cards to the deck.
This posting is called a Primer because it opens up the discussion of probabilities and where a Valencia deck can go with certain cards at its core. In this case it would be the list of aforementioned cards.
Why is Trope useful in a Valencia deck?
Valencia decks have been plagued by the fact that it is a min 50 card deck. The existence of Paige Piper helped the identity out by a lot, by allowing you to thin out your deck, as long as your deck is heavy in installable cards and that you are running multiple copies of such cards. Meaning running simply 1 or 2 ofs of a card as a meta call for certain archetype hate was simply no possible due to it being inconsistent in such a large deck, so you often will get the card too late. Also in the case of Clot of D4v1d, recurring it without wanting to waste influence on things like Clone Chip is nearly impossible, unless you want to use Deja Vu, which sometimes I find to be cost inefficient. So by running Trope, we can "attempt" to fix many of these problems, and it allows us to cut down on the number of Deja Vu's and Same Old Thing that we would need to run, in it's stead we can either run more economy, space for 1 or 2 of meta call cards, so on so forth.
