Bromley Titan - 1st Place Emerald Tavern SC

DoomRat 2377

This is my Titan List from the Emerald Tavern Store Championship (pretty similar to the list I played at Asgard as well). The list is heavily based on Dr.Foo's Cheating Bankers list from the Bromley Store Championship. He did an excellent write up on how to play it, so I'll just talk about the changes I made from his list.

Ice

At the Asgard SC, I found that I could rarely afford to rez Colossus and I had plenty of banks for advancement counters, so I went ahead and swapped them for Sapper. It turned out pretty well, blowing up a black orchestra and a data sucker from R&D, and generally being a pain without costing me any money.

Econ

I found the Mass Commercialization from the original list to be a bit slow for my taste, so I swapped it for beanstalk royalties and IPO. It really should have been 3 Beanstalk Royalties and 1 IPO, but I made a mistake putting the deck together and didn't notice until I arrived at the store (TBH, I'm just glad I ended up with something legal).

Assets

I went ahead and cut Elizabeth Mills. If you get to the point where the BP is really hurting you, I think your probably going to slow anyway.

Wrap Up

This deck is a blast to play and a good meta call if you think you can avoid Hayley in the cut (which I fortunately did on a die roll). That match-up is pretty bad though, so if you think your going to have to play it more than once I'd pick something else.

How often did Illegal Arms get trashed? Did you ever install multiples?

@PureFlight Runner didn't trash it out of remote all day, though I did overwrite it one game vs. Maw MaxX. I don't install multiples. You don't make too much money off of it and more than two cards per turn is pretty dangerous.

I'm fairly new to NR so sorry if this is a dumb question, but how is the ID ability being utilised in this deck? As far I can see, the only interaction is with Atlas. Am I missing something?

@CutthroatFinch You're not missing anything. Being able to fast advance out a Project Atlas and still get a counter is so strong that Titan is worth playing just for that. The Atlas token means that you can either tutor the next Atlas (if you have a fast advance tool in hand), or tutor for the next fast advance tool (if you have the next Atlas in hand). It also lets you tutor for Boom! if you can get the tags to stick with HHN. Atlas counters win games.
