Worlds hype got me interested in deckbuilding again, so I'm adjusting to current standard (and learning all the new cards NISEI has put out!). Tinkering with my all-time favorite ID has produced this.
The deck has a few paths to victory: regular Haarp silliness of matching the runner agenda for agenda--fingers crossed the runner picks the 1-pointer and not the Beale, landing tags and Psychographics'ing a Beale, or landing tags and threatening a lethal BOOM! (with of course HHN and False Lead to make that threat credible). As the name implies, it's trying to create lose-lose choices for the runner. There is nothing so satisfying than leading 6-5 in points and naked installing two 3/1's.
I'm eschewing cards like Echo Chamber and Franchise City here because they're costly to rez and cheap to trash. I get more mileage out of the operations and Amani Senai. The ice suite is a mixture of hard ETR and soft taxes and/or tagging. Testing Surveyor because ice tends to get installed vertically.
Critique and suggestions welcome! Wondering if finding room for an Exchange of Information would be worth it--swapping my 1-pointer for their 2-pointer. Still going through post-FFG cards, so I definitely could be missing some must-includes that I simply don't know about yet.

That's a good point on EoI. My thoughts were that as is, EoI would let me freely install Explode-a-palooza, take the money when they steal it, then be able to swap it later. I'm often installing Explode, advancing once, then installing a 3-advancement agenda along with it. That way I'm guaranteed a score next turn, but giving them 2 points for my 1. I could swap Explodes for 2 Bellona--the agenda shuffling would also create room for EOI if I wanted to go that route. I'll consider it. Slot Machine is a weird piece of ice! What a text box to work through. I'll consider it, though it seems to fulfill a different role than Pop-Up. I view Pop-Up more as free credits that tax the runner and buff Surveyor, rather than as a real roadblock to the runner. But I'm definitely open to the idea that those slots could be better used (no pun intended). Thank you for the suggestions! |
Suggestion wise: I don't think an exchange works here unless you were to find influence to slot a Global food Initiative or 2 or you were to play Bellona (New Nisei defensive 5/3)
I would certainly consider swapping the Pop-up windows for Slot machines - you are likely to get a lot more value from them!
