Cooties
You can't preserve your personal touches or virus counters if you have to fetch the program out of your garbage. Sacrificial Construct lets you save both of those when it's on the field. |

Exactly right. Also, since grim was released, I've found that preventing the trash is much more preferable to re-installing. |
Sacrificial Construct over Clone Chip seems a strange choice.
