It's Good to Have Options (2nd in Swiss, Victoria BC SC)

This deck went 4-1 after five rounds of Swiss on 27 Jan 2018 at Gauntlet Games Store Championship in Victoria BC, ending up in second place out of 17 players before the cut (which I had to bow out of to catch a flight).

The game it lost was to Indexing/Mad Dash through a single Data Raven in the late game, which I should have seen coming and shored up R&D better. Other wins came through standard CTM shenanigans, with the likes of SEA Source/Exchange of Information, plain scoring 7 points, and even landing a Boom kill.

Calibration Testing adds a nice new out for CTM here, allowing you to fast advance a Beale for the win, or get some crucial agendas out early. AR-Enhanced Security does fantastic work when scored early, and can usually be easily bluffed out as a QPM behind a Data Raven early. Having one or two of them scored really gives the Runner pause when thinking about trashing assets, and even Boom, which is hilarious. The 1x Preemptive Action here is mainly to get Boom back if it's trashed, and the 3x Daily Business Shows make finding Boom relatively likely at some point, after you can land a HHN in the mid-late game, which is usually inevitable, unless the Runner has good tech and plays really tight.

Data Ward can really lock the Runner out if they go tag-me, and of course, if you can luckily draw into a Data Raven into Data Ward server, all the better. 3x IP Block and a Wraparound for anti-Aumakua tech, finding that Resistor doesn't do enough to keep them out unless they're in tag hell.

CTM is bae.
