I don't really get how you're supposed to protect the Sandburg from getting trashed? Am I missing something?

I don't think he intends to stop them. it's a 4 credit tax on the runner to trash and with 3 Architects, he simply just spawns it back constantly along with Jackson. If he was really desperate to protect it a News Hound would do the trick but I suspect a Special Offer is reserved for the Sandburg to make the credit swing even worse.

The Sandburg is protected by with Navi Mumbad, and constantly reinstalled (or given a redundant copy) by Architect.

But yeah, it can also serve as simple taxation, depending on the situation.
