I'm still determined to make this work! Focus on either R&D or HQ depending on who you're playing against and what you have, try and score an early agenda, and then sacrifice it with Frame Job. Then Blackmail your way into remotes or into a low-defense central (then sacrifice the bank job to get paid for it!). Recur that Blackmail with SOT, but use them strategically. The Underworld Contacts/Gobalsec package I think will be very useful against SEA Source/Scorched and NBN's ice. Plus the drip economy will help.

You're right on the nose about the overall plan. You want to score an agenda early, get your frame job up (hopefully turning on Iain in the process), and then prepare to blackmail, which will get you your bank job money to install interfaces and resources. Security Testing is a good card, but you're not going to be super-aggressive with this deck, and as you said it forces rezzes, which we don't want to happen. The NACH is there as a cheaper alternative to plascrete and a defense against SEA Source, just to try it out. Corroder is in there because Breach is not a good breaker early on. Paying 2c to get through Ice Wall is not fun. I've considered Raymond Flint in past builds but I don't think he's that useful. I like your suggestion of Inside Job/Feint to help Shutdown. Infiltration is there to make sure I don't run into a 6-point Junebug. I actually took out Planned Assault because deck space is tight, but maybe I could make it work with Inside Job in there too. Playing against Tenin and CI means I focus on one of the centrals early on, and focus my blackmails on the other (against CI I exclusively blackmail HQ or Sneakdoor). Thanks for your comment! I'm still trying to really make the deck sing and I'm just so in love with the idea. |
Blackmail IS a run-event, so you can always Planned Assault it. Also, it's not clear what you're planning to do with New Angeles City Hall. I'd just put in x2 Plascrete (pretty essential anyway). Bank Job has generally been replaced by Security Testing in most decks, since there are several deck-archetypes that do not make remotes (Tennin and CI come to mind). But maybe you don't want that because it would force rezzing?
Sounds like you want to basically sit back until the first agenda is scored, tutor for Frame Job with Logos (which you hope to have installed) and then profit from Free Runs. That'd be awesome if you can get that first agenda, right? That's really the problem. But if you can get that first agenda, you're all set.
Seems fun! You might as well just be playing central-only breakers (cutting the Corroder) if that's your strategy. Maybe adding in a Deja Vu for more Blackmail recursion?
To be really all-in on this plan, you definitely want Planned Assault, and maybe even Inside Job or Feint to enable Shutdown. I'd probably cut the Infiltration, as it doesn't further the plan. A neat plan might be a one-off Raymond Flint with all those HQ Interfaces. Forfeit an agenda, access +1 or +2 from HQ? It can also be that expose you might want, too. Some corps just like taking Bad Pub, too...
