I am so happy that Global Food Initiative exists.
This is the deck I piloted to 6-2 during Swiss (0-1 in Elims) at the 2015 Worlds to 11th place after Swiss (16th after Elims).
It's an update of an ETF deck that I used to win a central Canadian Regional, and a bit different than all the other Food decks that were at worlds.
The two major differences are the Restructures and the Tollbooths. In retrospect, I think cutting the tollbooths and getting a second Caprice in there would have been the better choice.
The restructures, however, are golden. I'm not always happy to draw the third Breaker Bay Grid, or Eve if it's mid-late game. I don't like econ cards that don't always pay out. So I cut one of each for two Restructures and it gives this deck a surge of speed. Nothing is better than turn one Hedge, install ice, Restructure. Then there's those turns when you rez Eve (with or without BBG), then land the restructure. Then you get to watch the runner agonize about whether or not to trash the Eve. Do they let it go and leave you set for money for the rest of the game? Or do they trash it and give you a scoring window the size of Pluto since you still have 15+ credits? It's glorious.
Two Turing was a good call against all the Valencia out there. Putting one on HQ slows the siphon plan dramatically.
One Viktor 1.0 in there just because it frustrates Anarchs more than Enigma.
And yeah, I cut an Architect. I felt dirty doing it. But hey, everyone at Worlds got their Mimic out ASAP, so I didn't miss it.
Hope you enjoy the list.
