This version of the ‘Why Did It Have to Be Snares?’ AgInfusion deck went 3-1 during the Diversified Portfolio online tournament. Funny thing is, it no longer has any Snares in it ;)
In the world where every other deck runs a Stargate, spiking your RnD with traps is just not very effective and rarely gives you these pretty little windows to score Obokatas. The slot was taken by the card that never should have existed, but is currently (see what I did there?) corp’s best weapon against resource-based economies – no matter if they come in the form of Aesop, Tech Traders, Pad Taps or the peculiar clientele of Lostgeek’s Cafeteria.
Slotting in Scarcity of Resources enabled the inclusion of News Hound – an amazing early-game ice that (unlike Cortex Lock) remains relevant later into the game. It took the place of Data Loop, that often turned out to be a little too costly.
AgInfusion is also the one ID that can afford to have highly situational ice, as they can always work as fuel for the ID ability. Hence the Macrophage, for slaughtering Aumakuas, Pelangis and occasional Khumalo players.
Other than that, this is just the AgInf deck that we all know and love :)

Big thanks go to the TOs of the Diversified Portfolio tournament – Krasty and Longi – for organizing this amazing event. Rock on!
