Torpedo

Its called torpedo because its fast and supposed to hunt boats. So the plan is fairly simple, play agendas, use Seamless Launch to score, don't take to long cause runner inevitability is scary.

Then the questions is, how do we protect that remote? Well, part 1 is using some ice, we run 12, its pretty standard stuff, a bit on the low-end. Its fairly important to get ice on HQ and R&D as well, probably even archives to stop turtles or boats from going out of control, also delaying apocalypse/deep dive.

Part 2 is that you only need to prevent runs on the remote for a single turn so you can slam down an agenda, and 2 more cards, and for those we have NEXT Activation Command, Anoetic Void and Manegarm Skunkworks.

  • NEXT Activation Command stops not only boat, but also makes all your ice like 2 more credits to break, stops boomerangs, stops clicking past ice, and some other tricks.

  • Anoetic Void plain stops runs from working as long as the runner will pay more for them than you will, which is very powerful

  • Manegarm Skunkworks is the weakest of the 3, but it actually costs money for the runner to get rid of rather than costing you anything to maintain.

The daredevil version of this deck runs 3x Vulnerability Audit instead of 2 Hansei Reviews, but the review allows you to get some value of tech cards and other stuff you won't need, so I think its quite good. Speaking of which, the (other) tech cards:

  • Mavirus for protecting archives against turtles
  • Ark Lockdown for people that find a 1-of paperclip and puts it in archives
  • Tyr for people thinking "how bad can it be" and runs when there's a NEXT Activation Command up and no way to break a str 9 sentry

Precision Design is a good ID for this sort of deck with a lot of weird tech-card that you sometimes need to play a lot and sometimes won't use. The 3x Seamless Launch is not because you need 3x Seamless Launch but because if your holding 2 copies, and use 1, you can pick up a NEXT command or whatever else you happen to need. Also Seamless -> Seamless -> Score, picking up Seamless -> install can be good if your in a real hurry or just want to Rashida

Lastly we have the agendas, the only interesting thing there is that I replaced to 2 last 4/2s with a GFI and Elivagar. It might give you some cool options occasionally, but the main reason is how far the drop is from Offworld Office to the next 4/2. Running 3x Vulnerability Audit instead of GFI and the 3 offices might actually be good, but is seems really risky, mainly because of Stargate/Deep Dive.

My feeling is that this deck needs polishing if its going to win anything big, but it seems like it might be good if boat survives the banhammer and runner econ gets a little bit worse.
