Legend of Adam 2: The Adventure of Click

ironblue 166

Following a (brief) playtest on jnet, the Legend of Adam is back in a brand new adventure featuring the experimental use of dangerous stimulants and fewer shirts.

After (barely) defeating Ganon in his seminal outing, Adam got fed up with his methodical top-down approach to drip economy and decided to revisit the basics of two-dimensional directive platforming. There's a horrifically mixed metaphor about jumping somewhere in all of this but I'm too juiced up on stims to think of it.

The approach to directive-based deckbuilding is the simple one a lot of recent Adam decks have trended towards: If you aren't capitalizing on the GOOD parts of your virtual compulsions, then why are you playing Adam? Going down the line, I tried to smash a strong early-game aggro deck together with a solid late-game rig while addressing at least one synergy with each of Adam's ID 'abilities'.

Thanks to Xero_Hour for reminding me that Stim Dealer exists.

I almost put in Stim Dealer into my Adam deck because I thought you could ABR two subs in a turn. Which you can't. But having extra clicks in Adam is so crucial, I should have done it anyway!
