Not playing much since Worlds I had no clue what runners are good going to German Nationals, so I was super happy when @qvm published his "Hayley for the new world" deck. About a week before tournament I tested bunch of changes he suggested like Reaver, Paul's Cafe + more Cybertroopers but I eventually decided Artist Colony is way to go.

The only problem was I am a chicken and I was pretty scared of PE so buffer drive went in and last spare influence was 3rd stimhack to increase the chance against rush decks and horizontal decks. Needless to say I only faced one PE over entire tournament... but buffer drive can be used as another way to recur pelangis/eulers or anything else you need.

Deck did ok going 2-4 in main event. Two loses being my big mistakes not necessarily decks fault.

Glad you had fun! For the record, that's my current list: went away from artist colony for more slots (it's still good though) and added imp/clot

Heinzel was playing Hayley as well (and got 3rd!), and he used Buffer Drive to finish off my Earth Station deck in the cut by adding a discarded Leg Work back to the top, drawing it, and Legworking my 3/5 agenda hand. So it's super useful for that second recursion ability, even if you're not bothering with the damage bit.

@saan You're right. I missed the second part of the card text and only figure it out in 2nd round of swiss on Saturday. I should set reminder to read whole card next time. Using it as 4th SC or stimhack is still pretty good. I saw that game. It was quite a flood.

@qvm Thank you for posting updates. Clot would have been pretty useful as I faced 4 FA decks in 10 games during weekend. I like burghalter but Ika is probably good enough. I haven't seen many sentries so moving Ika around isn't that expensive right now. Diesel often felt like death card when ProCo was on the board. How useful did you find Imp?

I planned to try -2 Diesel, -1 Burghalter, +1 Ika, +1 Clot, +1 Legwork. It may also require Memchip because MU is tight if you need breakers + pelangi + clot on the board.

I like having a couple of diesels for bad mulls, and for quickly finding solutions or drawing up to steal obos.

Imp is great. With simulchip it can be cheaply recurred against decks where you don't need a lot of eulers. It's flexible, but here's a non-exhaustive list: + trash vacheron to steal it from archives + trash bellona to steal it later (if you can't right now, or due to punitive) + trash assets (you have no tech against asset heavy decks) + dig repeatedly on r&r with rdi + trash combo pieces
