FemMopus Fatale

With Femmes like these, who needs enemies?

In the past, I've been hard on Magnum Opus, saying it doesn't have a place in stealth builds, and that it's notoriously slow to get off the ground. But now that the moon is setting on the Lunar cycle, corps are slowing things down a bit; I've seen more and more glacier builds, and I've been starting to feel that Kati and ProCo can sometimes have trouble keeping up. So I've tweaked things a bit and found that by adding Femme Fatale into the mix, a lot of the previous problems I've had navigating early servers and managing stealth credits just aren't that big a deal anymore.

Femme combos beautifully with Kit's ability. Test Run her when the corp is trying to sneak out an agenda behind a two-ice server, and bypass the innermost ice. Scavenge her if you need to, otherwise let her go back on the stack and discard her to be used for a future Test Run if you don't want to hard install her with Modded and Mopus money. She also has the added bonus of taking Dagger out of the mix, meaning we can move our stealth sources to Ghost Runner and Lockpick, neither of which take up MU. I've also added in Earthrise Hotel to power our draws. Clickless draw in a deck that wants to be making one run a turn and click Mopus as often as possible is priceless.

Corroder is in for Lady, because I got tired of sharing Scavenges between Femme and the dog. And a suggested change for this is to go to 1x Clone Chip and 2x Akamatsu. Nothing worse than being memory starved and holding two CC's in hand.

I'm not convinced this deck is 100% there yet, but it's getting close. Thoughts?

I always run into a similar wall with my Kit stealth builds. Some random thoughts:

I love astrolabe too, but usually drop it to 2 to make room for another mem chip. And how about a bigger mem chip?

Oh, do an experiment for me. I'm a big advocate of Replicator in these stealth builds, since you have a lot of hardware, and getting all your lock picks out isn't just nice to have, it's absolutely mandatory. So try Replicator and see how many draws you get. In my testing it is between 5 and 7 cards for just 2 credits. And not just any draws, but quality draws for the lock picks you need. Try them in place of the Earthrise for a couple of games and see what you think.

@RumpleForeskinI used to run Replicator + Inside Man which was hilarious fun, but I don't know, it just feels too slow. And I've actually dropped a Clone Chip for the second Akamatsu because not seeing memory sucks, but paying 4 to install a CyberSolutions is just way too much. I'll admit though, I'm not totally sold on Earthrise with its 4 install cost as well, but I really don't like Quality Time either. The deck needs draw, and while Replicator helps clean your stack out, I personally prefer that pure draw power over a thin deck. FFG, let us have 5x Diesel pls?

What is slow about Replicator? By its very design it is an accelerant. It costs 2 credits and it is going to pull out all of your lock picks at which point you've reached your end game state.

You don't end Inside Man. That is probably what was slow. Like I said, count how many card draws you get from Replicator and compare the 2 credits you spent to how much you would have spent on Earthrise
