Resourceful Hayley 1.12

Took this to black lion games in Edinburgh today and came third. Really liking this build and it only lost on during the day to Argus as I didn't really find the economy. Considering a clot add but I like imp at the moment.

I run a similar build, so far undefeated in 2 casual tournaments. The biggest difference is that I run 3x ProCo, 3x Aesop, and a few zero-cost resources to spam out as Aesop-food with Hayley's ability (SOTs for Levy backup, and formerly Ice Analyzers, now Sacrificial Constructs after learning it can preserve Clot after a purge). Clot can buy the time to take the tempo hit from installing ProCo, since it can be threatened with only 2/4 credits with Clone Chip or SMC.

I prefer Akamatsu over CyberSolutions, since they make good Aesop-food after I don't need SMC breathing room. My console is 1x Astrolabe; though a 1x Parasite is a clutch card, and the extra Cache money is nice, Grimoire is overkill IMO. A good way to improve econ efficiency is 1-2x CyberFeeder, and/or 1x Scheherazade (another good Hayley-combo/Aesop-food in a pinch).

I also burn three influence on Faerie, which I'm told is nuts, but has worked well for me, since it allows safe face-checking with SMC with very few credits. Same for a 1x CyberCypher: a life-saver against a surprise Merlin, and efficient against Tollbooth.

Street Peddler is a little RNG swingy for my tastes as a control player. It's a great include though: efficient and psychologically threatening, synergizes with Hayley both on the install, and the ability to trigger again on the Corp's turn or mid-run.

Still tinkering with the deck, but I think it's a powerful archetype, easily Tier 1.5 or better.

I'm definitely considering dropping the Grimoire so I can get a Clot in and switching to Astrolabe as my console. Space is pretty tight though and I don't think I can really look at Scheherazade at the moment, though I have considered in previous Chameleon powered builds.

Street Peddler is doing amazing work for me and I really recommend giving it a go. You have to embrace the randomness a bit but it always gives me something worth having and the psychological impact on the Corp can be invaluable.

I'm considering a build that drops the Diesel for ProCon but I am really not sure about a card that can be such a massive swing in money. The only deck I lost against was Argus and that was because I lost the economy battle for the most part.

I don't really like the idea of including resources just to feed to Aesop's, I find I have plenty of food for him most of the time, selling the occasional film critic to him if I am on the last Agenda points I need, cache of course and the occasional lady that I can then clone chip back in.
