A super-modern form of glacial pain.
Industrial Genomics forces the runner into lose-lose situations by a) leveraging an early economic advantage, and b) pressuring with trashable assets and ambushes that can't reasonably be trashed. That means that whereas PE wants to play the shell game and fire off 3/1's to activate its ability - ie. a constant form of punishment - IG wants to focus more on a glacier style of play: our assets can protect themselves through the ID's ability, which lets us focus on establishing a secure and taxing scoring remote, all while packing the potential for major punishment.
I'm a lifelong Weylander, and this deck is built on the Weyland principle of forcing the runner to respect your potential simply by putting down the ID. The needling, long-term net damage is gone; the shell game isn't worth our time; and while the runner gears up to deal with both, we've set up a deep remote that's a pain to deal with. Power Shutdown keeps us on top of the runner's tempo, and gets Faerie off the table . It also combos beautifully with IG's ability, and with only 8 agendas in the deck, we're not too worried about trashing anything terribly important. And we can always get whatever we need back with Archived Memories.
Ronin is your kill switch here. Set it up, advance it while building up your scoring server and dare the runner to spend the time and the pain of checking archives getting in to trash it. Either they leave it alone, and get nuked with net damage, or focus it too hard, allowing you to score out agendas.
