If you're running Valencia Estevez and you're not playing Blackmail, something is clearly going wrong.
Bad Publicity is clearly best in a deck that likes to run often. So we're going to throw that out the window and build a deck that explicitly prefers to run, like, three times. Maybe four.
Here's what our game plan is:
Assemble 3 Medium in play (perhaps via Mass Install) and 3 Blackmail in your hand. Make 3 Blackmail runs on R&D, which will definitely get through because you haven't run R&D yet this game. Access, like, 10 cards. Good game, well played, etc.
Alternatively: Put an Incubator into play early. Get your Medium out, put counters on it from Incubator, make a Blackmail run. See above.
Obviously there are an infinity of ways this plan could go wrong. The corp could be playing Eliza's Toybox or Executive Boot Camp, which a wily player will use to rez ice over R&D. The corp could be Jinteki: Personal Evolution and knock a key card out of your hand. The corp could be playing Elizabeth Mills and just get rid of their bad publicity. And, most problematically, the corp could win before we draw our entire deck.
But, hey, I didn't say it was a good deck. And tbh you should be fine as long as you have a Medium, an Incubator, and Knights. That seems like a pretty good set of cards to have.

I agree. Memstrips is an accidental holdover from when the deck had Overminds instead of Knights. |
i think you should reduce the memstrips to a 2 of for maybe another SoT and also i would swap the hemorrages for a gravedigger. that way if you blackmail into r&d with 4 medium counters and see some problematic ice or operations you can trash them with grave digger counters. actually i think the memstrips should flat out be grimoires as they synergize with your viruses
