Frog dissects you: 1-2 at May AMT

Had the craziest loss with this deck, which I need to share before any real writeup can happen. Huge shout out to @Spiph for the game, this one was insane and I don't think I'll ever have an experience playing card games like that again lol.

PAIN

Being at 0 credits has never felt so bad

Anyways onto the decklist writeup:

This meme also works with clot, and ari being every shaper in existence

Brought this to the May AMT, which I had a ton of fun with. I've really loved World Tree shaper for a while now, but wanted to put a little spin on the standard setup. This surprisingly kind of works into a bunch of decks.

The main idea is to play normal control shaper UNLESS you want the knife for specific matchups. Double K2CP Turbine helps you remote-lock basically everything, so if you can get setup with that and your breakers you're good to go (sometimes less depending on the matchup).

That said, in the matchups where sitting and remote locking sometimes isn't as easy, such as in asset spam with Amani Senai, just go for the win with the knife instead.

Absolutely dies to rush though. Outfit cleaned up extremely fast in this tourney vs me. It takes a lot of luck to get all the tools you need out fast enough to counter some of these rush setups.

Card Choices

Jeitinho is surprisingly versatile in this setup. The fact that you can World Tree it out usually gives you an extra click on the turn you want to score it to get additional money or build the board a bit more, and in the matchups that you don't want it it's fodder to tutor out Cyberdelia or LilyPAD (which you can eventually bring back anyways, with Physarum Entangler).

AirbladeX (JSRF Ed.) is more fodder for hardware tutoring, but I think has some good "when encounter" triggers to avoid like Anvil or Tollbooth. Mostly I use it to grab something better though. My original slot here was Gebrselassie, which I think could be good on a Pressure Spike into something like multi-Pharos, but I wasn't expecting tons of weyland glacier in particular so opted to avoid that.

Someone at my local recommended trying out Muse, which I haven't yet with ari, so I added a 1x for the tourney. I think it's really good in theory. If I'm dumping the Simulchips to tree out different hardware, it's good to get a backup for programs like Physarum Entangler too.

Huge shout out to everyone I played (especially @Spiph), and big thanks to everyone who helped run the tournament! I had an absolute blast playing my jank in it.
