Strategy
The card choices have been made such that whatever the game demands can be used. For example, if a a low cost, low power breaker is needed, GS Sherman M3 or ZU.13 Key Master can be used. On the other hand, cards like Study Guide and Snowball allow good late game board states. There are also a small number of tricks, with Sneakdoor Beta and Medium / Nerve Agent.
Therefore, with versatility achieved, the aim is to win on your terms, or adapt and still win if you cannot do so on your terms.
How To Play
If you are playing against Fast Advance or Rush decks, I feel like having Magnum Opus and / or Astrolabe would be great, especially against NEH.
Don't be afraid of discarding programs, especially with Freelance Coding Contract, as long as you keep checking for Chronos Protocol and Blacklist. Clone Chip allows you snipe out programs like Medium and Nerve Agent without wasting a , and Clot can be used to get the extra turn you need. Deus X can be that extra net damage protection.
The Rebirth card is very versatile. If you get in your starting hand, I would recommend going with either Kate "Mac" McCaffrey: Digital Tinker or Rielle "Kit" Peddler: Transhuman. Leaving it in your hand as a surprise card also work, especially if you need that 1 extra with Chaos Theory: Wünderkind.
Also remember that if you Levy, you are temporarily disabling all Clone Chips in play.
Because of the time this deck takes to setup, this deck's current weakness is really fast decks.

And to reduce breaking costs, you should probably swap Snowball for Cerberus "Lady" H1 or efficient Anarch fracters. And boy that is a lot of damage prevention. I like XD. Professor builds tend to run D4v1d too. What is your reasoning behind including both Study Guide and ZU.13 Key Master? |

I like Faust, and I was initially going to say that it probably won't work out for my flavor of Professor. When I think about it though, it makes sense because anyway discarding programs / cards is a part of a this deck. One problem I can think of is the lack of card draw. I'll have to think about it more and get back to you. Thanks! OneFabric |

I thought a little more about why I didn't include Faust. I looked at your deck Planet Express v3 to understand. I think it eventually comes down to card draw. There is very little card draw in this deck, ( Astrolabe being the only one ) that does not justify using Faust. What do you think? |

Faust makes a good threat once it's down it says to the corp your going to need some proper ICE if you want to stop me getting in cos I can happily throw cards at you to get your agendas. It's not just a tool for getting rid of cards you don't need even if in your case your likely to be just using it with spare Astrolabe's / Feedback Filter's or uneeded Plascrete Carapace's Since you have Freelance Coding Contract. Sorry for the long rant but i hope that makes my point of view clear I could be wrong ultimately as i start my decks with it as an auto include so my decks always have faust in mind when i build. |
@OneFabric
I find an excellent include for rush decks is to include Faust apparently it's quite good in general as it's ended up on the MWL :)
