I have a GNK coming up in a week, (https://www.facebook.com/events/260786994306712/ for folks in the Atlanta area), and we are only using the core and deluxe sets. This is an attempt to make a Kate deck using those restrictions. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

A couple of tips from me:
Main threats will be glacier, FA, tag & bag and Jinteki net damage. Don't let them score if possible and safe, if they don't try scoring just set up. Use Self-modifying Codes combined with money or Stimhack to pressure their scoring servers until R&D lock. |
Looks definitely better, but there is another thing I would change. I think you have too much Memory-Hardware. You can install your whole breaker suite for 4 MU (although I think against most decks you will only need one of Ninja and Femme). Add 2 more MU, which you should be able to get relatively quickly. Then you can install things like Opus (against Corps which ICE their servers deeply), double Paricia (against Asset Spam), Net Shield (against Jinteki) or Medium (for basically everything else - and some of the aforementioned matchups later on. Beware against Jinteki, though, multiple Snare!s in one run can quickly kill you and even your Shield won't help you much in that case). As far as I see it, you rarely need more than 2 extra-MU, and even in the cases where 3 would be helpful (most likely Opus + Medium) you do not need it asap, or you can just install your fourth breaker later on, saving the MU. Anyway, long story short, I would cut the Q-Coherence Chips and add something else, maybe Armitage Codebusting or Omni-drive (pseudo-Memory!) - just some more economy.
On another note: Do you know how kill-happy your opponents will be? Since you can not use Scorch's worst enemy, I would think about slotting in a Decoy or two, if you suspect a lot of kill (not too much of a stretch if there is no Plascrete around). The question would be, what to cut. Maybe another Medium? You can still tutor the last one when you need it. Also either the Stimhack or one of the Clown Chips could be cut, freeing up the influence for two women with curlers. But that would weaken the primary strategy of the deck, so that one is really up to you and how you guess your meta will shake out at the tournament.
