MWL Legal Stimpshop Theory I've taken a pretty basic Stimpshop Theory build, and added Box-E and Multithreader, though with Chaos Theory there is enough MU to build a full rig without Box-E. Mulligan for Magnum Opus, hopefully also with a modded but keep so long as you have an MO. Build up cash and get Workshop and Self-Modifying Code. Don't be afraid to stimhack for the credits if you can spend them all on SMC and PW.

Corroder is more efficient than Battering Ram 90% of time time. They cost equal amounts to break an even number of subroutines and Corroder is more efficient at odd numbered subroutines. In addition, it takes three runs on a barrier ICE before Battering Ram's one extra strength pays for the added install cost. And then, yes, there is that extra MU cost. Personally, when I ran this, I desperately wanted that Magnum Opus out ASAP. I'd consider finding room for even a single Test Run to improve your odds of getting it turn one or two. It also helps to get out those Multithreadersand lets you save an extra one of those Self-modifying Codes. for your breakers. How lethal is your meta? Are two Plascrete Carapaces how many you feel you need? |

Sorry for the late reply! Did some testing w/ this and yes Corroder is often more than enough. Not getting an MO early really hurts. I've gone up to 3 MO and 3 Modded for the early setup, over 1x Plascrete and 1x TME, been playing very well so far. |
Looks great! Kinda weird to see Corroder over Battering Ram, but I can see how you might be tight on MU at times.
