A glacier deck I've been teching and playing a little bit of. Its asset spam and root abuse to the max. You use Tech start up to find the root or adonis or pad, probably in that order. Each made more sweet by breaker bay grid. Interns and Jackson keep you spamming with all the tech start ups, which keep fetching you assets until the runner can't keep up. Eventually the root sticks and you can advance all the ice, eventually ending with huge firewalls and tyrant with orion free to rez.
This works very well against headlock reina, and can pull out of matches on credit denial.
Stacking barriers gives it fair game against PPVP Kate.
Bootcamp allows you to rez ice vs blackmail decks, and fetch various necessary assets.
Cyberwalls works on 10 cards, and is a fair econ boost similar to oaktown when scored later. Its cutesy but pretty sweet, and helps with parasites working on things like rainbow and other ice.
Its glacier so its not weak vs clot.
Yes it doesn't run hedge fund. As usual, feedback welcome.

I've had people hamstring themselves early on hindering their development enough that they can't get going. A few advancements on some space ice, and you're up and running. If it survives early, it becomes quite a thing to deal with. I've considered sliding the ice cost curve downward some due to the rough starts. Whizz makes it a pain too, but the 1cr cost still hurts. |

Totally the opposite of my Gagarin deck, but I like this a lot. Wish there was a way to tutor upgrades so you could get that Breaker Bay out ASAP, but I guess Architect can help with that. Have you considered Will-o'-the-Wisp in the BB server? Or Space Camp to make your central servers more frustrating to attack? |

I love space camp, but it takes up too many slots. Typically I draw pretty hard with jacko in order to find BBG, all the while finding ice and assets to install, a region tutor would be cool, but probably not fit slot wise. |

To echo All of your ICE is rather expensive, and s spent advancing your space ICE are s not spent fishing for and installing your grids and other combo pieces you need to actually start making money. It takes a full turn to advance space ICE (almost two for Orion), as well as 3 that you almost certainly had to click for. That hurts a lot, and it only maybe protects a single server, for all that work. Once you have all of that going and have Constellation Protocol installed it undoubtedly gets smoother, but that is an extremely rough early game. I'd also recommend shifting away from an Adonis Campaign economy (and saving yourself some influence) if you're fond of Tech Startup, because you can't get the credits off Adonis the turn it's installed, giving the runner a full turn to run on it and trash it. In my experience cards like Melange Mining Corp, Capital Investors, and Private Contracts work much better with this combo. |
I can see how it works when it gets going, but I can't see how it gets going. It seems super-reliant on the early Breaker Bay Grid to lower the rez costs of all your sources of money.
Have you had any issues with people aggressively trashing Assets, particularly in the early game?
