This deck is built on the idea that running any single remote against Jinteki:RP is going to be more expensive, and then makes your assets and upgrades even more costly to trash with Encryption Protocols.
Eventually you want a good pile of money plus Ash + Hokusai Combo with some Encryption Protocols on the side. Effectively you would force the runner to have to waste 3 clicks, take 2 damage and spend a good pile of credits just to take a look at a remote once. Then you recur your Ash with Howards or Interns.
Sundew is the star of this deck. Protect it early with a Chimera or leave it unprotected if the runner does not trash assets and it can proivide a truckload of money over the course of the game.
This is a version with less econ (just 6 assets) but with more Ambushes instead. Shocks in particular function kinda like a soft econ, as you can drop them in archives and discourage sucker/desperado runs without using any ICE. Unfortunately the runner can still run and jackout without accessing, so eventually you'll prolly want something light as well there, like a spare shadow.
Because shocks discourage Archives access, very often you'll be able to hide one or two agendas in there for a longer time than usual, giving you a breather.
The single Shi.Kyu is in there to force the runner to have to always steal 4 agendas, even if they snag a Future Perfect.
Closed Accounts might seem like a weird card in this deck, but it has caught a lot of players unaware, especially if they gathered a few tags from shadows before this hit the table. However it's there primarily for counter to tag-me/siphon runners, because otherwise they will walk all over you.
No, this deck does not run Caprice Nisei. I've found that my weakest time is my early game at which point Caprice is not protective enough and too easy to trash in R&D and HQ.
v7 adds some Lunar Cycle cards, particularly Excalibur, Architect and Hostile Infrastructure. The new ICE is on testing as I'm not yet convinced that they are that impressive. Architect in particular is Mimic bait which is everywhere these days. Excalibur has the potential to be useful both in remotes and in centrals, but I haven't been particularly happy to see it in the early game.
Hostile Infrastructure is an interesting card. I don't want too many of them due to cost, but it's great to have against parasite recursion decks, or simple against runners with decent economies. The slowdown it inflicts can give you the time for your sundews to work.
Ronins are in as bait. When I want to force the runner to waste resources hitting my remote. If they get in they have to waste a ton of money, which will allow me a scoring window. If they do not get in, then I pop the ronin, put a Nisei v2 and advance once. This takes away a lot of their tricks and even puts them low enough on cards that they cannot run at all. On occasion I even pull of a double ronin flatline against central only runners.
This deck came 3rd in a local store tournament, going almost undefeated except one unlucky game and losing a game I was going to win due to time limit.

Caprice is not a cheap ICE. Without ICE protecting her, she's effectively a lamprey you play on yourself. Shell corporation doesn't work since I have no advanceable traps I put on the table, and often I do not need the money anyway. |

I'm not sure i like spending influence on architect. As you say it isn't extremely good when they have mimic, and Jinteki usually don't have trouble making the runner fear running without their sentry breaker. Excalibur on the other hand seems extremely RP. It is so hard to deal with, and if they can't it essentially makes the server it is on not usable for the run before remote access. If it wasn't so ♦ i think id play 3 :D |

no lotus field? It's a bit expensive but protects so well against parasite recursion and yogsucker |

also I think this deck could benefit from being industrial genomics rather than RP. From playtesting I have found IG to be basically the same as RP, except you know which central they are going to hit. Excalibur on Archives can really ruin a runner's day. You also don't have the problem of the runner running archives then jacking out before access - they have to access to flip the cards in archives |

Only your sundews are not as effective, as they can run them (even if they do not trash them) to deny prod. If they're using Imps or Desperadoes, it's a problem in the early game. I don't disagree with it Industrial Genomics: Growing Solutions can do an untrashable strain, but I think it would need re-thought. |

@GammaCodeX It doesn't matter that Excalibur is unique: you can combine it with other Grail ice and hold 2 Excaliburs in your hand so they will gain its subroutine! A couple Merlins and 1 more Excalibur would be excellent in an RP deck! ;) |

@manveruppd exalibur in RP is not used as a grail, but as a non sentry/codegate/barrier ice which makes a server (typically archives) not a useful way to disable the ability. If you use it as a subroutine on another grail its easily broken, esentially taxing a single credit |
Love it, but then I loved the previous iteration too.
I'm still slightly surprised by the Caprice decision - Surely by mentally treating her as a cheap ICE that avoids Bypass effects, she's still worth inclusion, even if it meant losing a Pup/Tsurugi, or even an Ash? Obviously, YMMV by local meta, etc.
Classic query in case it's been missed; Any use/potential for Shell Corporation for 'failed' traps?
