8️⃣🎱 How many rounds are there? EGNITH ?
This deck went 2-2 in some wild matches. I went 4-4 overall. My Corp BTL
For some reason I thought it'd be a good idea to attend the summer showdown starting at Midnight AEST (Australian time). Boy am I glad those intrusive thoughts won because this was a blast.
Huge shout to the folks streaming and Maninthemoon for making the event possible. Was great to play Nets with people all around the world. And the people for making the event a laugh and great games.
Going in playing only 2 Ari games ever, and trying to pilot a deck like this so late into the night was a little something like this. (One of my opponents did it too so I'll say its okay..)
Priv access is an elite card to trigger and pull a new Enviro testing + usually pull a Muse with a Coalescence on it at threat. The scary thing was running into so many R+ decks.
One of the main issues with this deck is initial money, and setup time. I think I still don't know what's right, turn 1 LilyPad or turn 1 Urban art. I'd Mulligan for either, If you can't find either by turn 3 you're in a rut.
This deck was built heavily around calling out the meta, I did a decent job I think. Here were my thoughts
Afterthought:
All in all I think some of the top tables have Ari more figured out than I do. I believe Kikai and sebastiank had some sweet things happening, from what I saw from streams and opponents. But Ari seems like an awesome ID that you can shape a little bit more to your own playstyle and adjust these key slots to your strengths.
My wins were overwhelming waves of money coming through and a high degree of control over scoring remote with a charged up central run which usually closed things out. My losses were hard fought but didn't find the tech I needed to beat the Asset spam NBN without gassing out, and a deep dive whiff.
