Tag Me Freedom MWL 2.2 Update

MasN2 51

Okay, so this is the current version of the Tagme deck I'm using. You'll notice quite a few changes.

My testing has been on jinteki.net, so this is just a modification of the deck to reflect the meta. Refer to the deck description of the previous iteration to refines yours.

So first change was removing a LARLA. Games were just never going that long. Spare inf was used on a rogue trading and a build script, replacing Day Job. Day Job is a pretty click-intensive card.

Next change was removing the second LARLA because games weren't going long. Most of the times the LARLA was just played to find the CS, so why not skip the middleman entirely and put in the CS? This frees up three inf and our unicorn, and when you have 3 infs and a unicorn, 3 strikes is often not a bad idea. And since there's no LARLA to recur, no point having SoT

Then it was just -1 DDoS +1 CS. Reasoning: This deck wins lategame, and the plan is to set up for that. Early pressure and "good netrunner" is bad for this deck. And DDoS is isn't very useful lategame.

The only way this deck loses lategame is by not having a CS and having to poke with single accesses. If a CS gets trashed from a peddler or used early on HQ, then you risk the last one being sniped by damage unless you go and preemptively install it. (jinteki.net has a lot of people playing net damage) Having the third copy gives you a lot more freedom when it comes to using a C for 4, 5, 6 on HQ, because you're a lot more sure you can get one on R&D. Other advantage is a CVS can kill your last CS, so having a spare handy means you don't have to check every remote for it. And in the kill matchups, it's a resource, and resources are good.

The chopping block: D4v1d : Okay, there's the fact this is your only way to beat a big IT department, but nobody uses that. Also the possibility of a remote Turing, but that doesn't seem popular. Of course it's also nice against FC3 and stuff, but a program you have to preemptively install doesn't make me happy. Hades Shard : Yes, this is often a draw 6, but you have to jump through a few hoops. Another Build Script is probably more reliable. Wireless Net Pavilion : A good corp will either not touch your resources at all or go for a triple trash when they think you don't have enough. As a result, there's a lot of cases where WNP protects your resources better in the grip than installed. But if you're doing that, why not play literally any other resource that has a use aside from protecting your resources? The third Sure Gamble. It's not a resource, it doesn't draw, other econ cards are often more efficient, we have a lot of econ. On the plus side, this only takes one click to play, and often you don't have enough clicks to play all your econ cards.
