Trying out my take on Supermodernism – a deck type I've never played before. Since the archetype is so well known, I'm playing around with the idea of having a few one-off cards (Snare!, Aggressive Secretary, WotW) to keep the runner guessing a bit.
Feedback appreciated!

Thanks, I see what you mean about SEA Source, but here was my thought process (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about it): My expectation is that I would be using a Project Atlas counter to get it (given that SEA Source is a one-off). That same one-off status makes the odds of the runner trashing it with Imp low. Even if that happens, I could (in theory) use Jackson Howard to get it back right when I need it. |

I'd drop 2x Corporate Troubleshooter and 1x Swordsman for 2x Snare! and 1x Will-o'-the-Wisp. That's the best way I can think of that makes the least impact on the deck's construction and intent. The Atlas counter is a valid way to pull your SEA-Scorch-Scorch combo, and something that I think I did only once or twice the whole time I played Supermodernism. I usually used them to pull more Atlases or Hostile Takeovers to score out and win on points. It rarely even occurred to me to use them to murder the runner. |
The biggest drawback that I see is that you only have 2 cards out of 49 capable of giving the runner a tag. 3 copies of Scorched Earth are all dead draws if the runner uses Imp to snipe your SEA Source.
Also, I'd tend to pplay more Snare!. That card wins games. I played the straight up archetype Supermodernism for several months, and Snare won me almost a full third of my games.
