[Eternal] Off the Blool

Eternal points:

Part of why I find eternal to be so fun and appealing is being able to experiment with cards that have never been legal at the same time before.
This deck shows the fun interaction between B-1001 and Off the Grid:
The former server except its own impregnable, as long as we can force the runner to take a tag during the run.
The latter protects its own server, as long as the runner can't successfully run HQ.
The two cards combined, with the help of one ice that forces the runner to take a tag positioned on HQ locks them out of that and any other server with either another Off the Grid or any tagging ice.

The rest of the list is there to compliment the strategy: Executive Boot Camp can tutor a piece of the combo and other useful assets, Friends in High Places is the best card at setting the combo back up if anything happens and help fight Clan Vengeance, which is very popular in the meta. The spiciest include goes to The News Now Hour, who's job is to prevent runners from playing Rumor Mill, as that's the most powerful and common way to stop the combo from working.

The deck turned out to be not very good, since there are so many ways to prevent it from doing what it wants to do, despite that most games with it are very fun and come down to the wire. It plays in a way that's very unique.

If you want to give this deck a chance and try i for yourself, here are a few changes you might want to look into:

  • Adding a second copy of Thoth: 7 ice that guarantee a tag feel just about enough, but an additional copy of them could come in handy over the second IP block or the third ping. Beware of how expensive it is to rex though.
  • Playing some Spin Doctors: The list is currently sitting at 6 points, so there is room for more powerful cards. The obvious one to me is spin doctor, which provides some speed as well as some additional resilience with recursion. I personally have a hard time finding the slots to play it, but feel free to cut whatever feels the list important, probably starting with some assets.
