Pre-rotation decklist |
This is the corp deck I piloted alongside some gold old fashion Headlock Reina to second place (only losing to an illegal deck, more details in the runner deck) at our most recent GNK
So first off i'd like to say, praise damon for keeping Atlas around.
Now, on to the actual deck, kind of standard rushy Titan deck, capable of winning off the old atlas train, though won both games off Punitive kills. Priority Construction does lots of work with the new wonder ice automatically activating it as well as boosting the strength on Fire Walls, Ice Walls and Colossi. Deck can also slow down to a more glaciery style, using Armored Servers to make things a bit more taxing with the surprising amount of multi sub ice there is in the deck. Titan giving the second token makes it that much better at allowing me to tax the runner out twice. Deck kind of falls apart to any deck that relies on Mopus for it's economy
Card Choices
1. Atlas is a no brainer in titan, and thank the lord it's core now
2. Armored Servers is an interesting agenda in titan, with the second token off the ID ability, can really break the runner's back to have to run a server in multiple subsequent turns without first drawing up
3. GRNDL Refinery went in as a way to actually try and bate the runner into the remote. Multiple times throughout the day, i would install advance, or install double advance it, the runner would drain themselves going for the run, just to access that, which allowed me to go for the score the next turn
4. Punitives went in as a way to try and punish runners who let themselves go too poor after grabbing an agenda for a bit of a cheesy win
5. Special Report was a way to try and help deal with agenda flood, or just get rid of stuff I didn't need at that point, hoping for better stuff(usually came) for the situation
Matchups
Round 1 Loss vs Leela
Opponent was the "illegal deck(we didn't really care)". Had trouble actually drawing my agendas for a while, and a few quick steals, along with a notoriety put him match putting, and out of kill range(had aaron out so couldn't get double punitive kill). Game kinda grinded along and as soon as he got the Gang Sign out with 2 HQIs, I kinda just resigned to myself losing it. Still tried, and a few timely siphons near the end kinda sealed the deal for it anyways
Round 2 Win vs Smoke Opponent had a pretty unfortunate start, seeing very little money early, so I managed to rush out an armored servers and an atlas pretty early. Opponent eventually managed to get his economy going and stole a couple agendas, but was unfortunately too low on money and cards in hand, so ended losing to double punitive
Round 3 Win vs Los Opponents going for the standard Los derez package along with Amakua (exposing stuff with GIP Net Tap). Again, managed to rush out an atlas pretty early, and despite having a better start than my round 2 opponent, still ended his turn after stealing a high risk with few enough cards that I was able to get the kill with double punitive.
Final Thoughts
So, had more success with this deck than I had originally thought I would(didn't have to worry about a mopus deck) who knows, Weyland for t1 post rotation? I for one am pretty optimistic about it, but not gonna hold my breath about it. Only other problems are that money can be kinda tight if you don't get a good enough economy start, and the deck is a little prone to having some bad draws(luckily special reports in there)
