Shoot the Curl v1.

I'm finally starting to feel this deck - so. Tear this apart, guys:

This is one of the few decks that could only work well in Kit or Quetzel, and, to be honest, I think it does better in Kit. The idea is to leverage Surfer for cheap/free accesses, as well as to bollox up the corp's ice placement.

Early on, you're going to want to draw heavily - you want a Library early, and preferably enough econ to run the library bounce /without/ using your Tech Writers. Femme and Chameleon give you all of your punch - between an LLDS'd up Chameleon and Femme's bypass, you should be able to get past just about anything.

Once things ramp up, out comes Surfer, which then combos with Paintbrush and Tinkering to create a horrid situation:

  • You can Paintbrush an existing piece of ICE (or Tinker another) to be a barrier.
  • On encountering that barrier, Kit also adds Code Gate.
  • Ride your new friend in close to the juicy server.
  • Crack it for cheaps with a barrier Chameleon or a bypassing Femme, or free with a Yog.0.

You really can only do this once or twice a turn, so each run needs to be maximized. What it does do, though, is allow you into a given server only having to deal with a single piece of ICE on the way, generally resulting in a small breaker suite and a massive efficiency boost.

Ugly, though, isn't it? Click to install, click to paint, click to run, let chameleon bounce back up into your hand. A Yog.0 on the table may even - if your planning's good - enable you to blast past things for free that your corp friend feels are safe.

In the endgame? Escher the table for added bonus access, and start your multiaccess hits with a heavy R&D interface presence. Plus, Film Critic to get around all of the nasty shenanigans that involve your face getting blown off when you run off with an agenda - we're counting on this over plascretes to save your hide from the inevitable butchershop.

Why Tri-maf? Play with it and see - but it has less mem cost than opus, and endures longer than Armitage. The downside isn't generally that bad if you keep yourself clear of tags.

I think this is actually the seed of something great, but I may not be the right guy to take it to the highest level.

As an Chameleon enthusiasts... I don't like it.

It feels like you have too many moving parts. Paintbrush + Surfer is interesting combo on its own, but adding click intesivnes of Chameleons to it seems like too much. There is too many moving parts.

There are many ICE you won't go thru without Femme Fatale or LLDS installed, Events will clog your hand while you dig for your combo cards and economy,

I would either include more support for Yog (Dinosaurus? Net-Ready Eyes? The Personal Touch? ) or add Personal Workshop to help Chameleons to do the hard work and save some clicks.

Also, after around 80-100 games with my Chameleon Kate deck I think 3 lizards are too many, 2 are completly fine, maybe include one Cerberus "Lady" H1 for emergency barrier breaking.
