Edward Kim is like a Shaper. Every access into R&D is huge, as well as HQ somewhat, but everyone loves and protects R&D already.
My approach to Kim, who I think is a solid ID akin to Reina is somewhat traditional and stale. Prepaid economy to pay for things, and classic ice destruction enhanced by Eater and the new events, that also benefit from Prepaid.
My simulations have shown that once Kim gets on top of you, it's really hard to get out, especially for FA/Kill decks that rely on Biotic or Scorched.
This deck might need some tweaking for MEMORY or DRAW or TUTOR, but I really like the Sneakdoor. Pressure on all servers, Sneakdoor allows more HQ accesses where operations sit.
First cards I would cut would honestly be the datasuckers.
Another interesting note is that Singularity loves Prepaid.

Also, as to card draw, I'm digging Inject. I will like drawing lots of cards is the way Anarchs tutor. If that isn't enough draw you could drop one Sneakdoor Beta (heresy, I know) for some Quality Times to dig those cards out. As for memory, I'm running Vigil because if they let me draw a card, great. If they keep their hand small, also great. The loss of the 1 compared to Grimoire is rough, but I look at my rig (aside from core breakers) as malleable. Just some thoughts! |
How has this deck been working out for you? I've been trying to crack the Kim Code too, and my deck is similar except I don't rely on Eater and ice destruction. I feel like there is too much anti synergy with Kim's ability. Having a full breaker suite is expensive, both in credits and influence, but every time I trash a Biotic Labor or Scorched Earth it's definitely worth it. I agree that Sneakdoor Beta is amazing in Kim. What do you think?
