This is my first Tennin Institute: The Secrets Within deck. The goal is to lock down centrals fairly quickly while using generous operation economy to rez ICE. Program trashing resets the runner and recursion is plentiful to make sure I'm never short of Trick of Light.

It is a no remote style, for sure and I'm definitely looking at selverin's deck for advice. The reason I'm running NeoTokyo Grid is to have another useful target for tennin tokens. It would be on archives, probably, and be another economy source if i don't have an Ice Wall out. That said, I'm not married to the idea. What should i replace it with? |

I've played a deck similar to this and really like Shadow in it; I would recommend replacing one of the Rototurrents with a Shadow (it becomes an annoying tax pretty quickly). Also, I'd go with one less Archived Memories and another Commercialization. Getting 8 or more credits for a click is amazing. |
According to your description, you will not create a remote server, correct? This a @Selverin-style Tennin, then (you might want to see his decklist if you have not done so already).
In that case, I do not think you will need NeoTokyo Grid, as this upgrade does not work with ICE (the keywords are "in this server"). If you do want to use NeoTokyo and create a remote, it is doable, and fun! NeoTokyo can be used to store Tennin Counters (and triggers itself to give you a credit in that case), and is almost enver trashed by the runner. You may have to change your ICE mix (e.g. -2 Inazuma +2 RSVP -1 Archived Memories -1 Reclamation Order +2 whatever). A remote with NeoTokyo and Caprice behind an RSVP is very strong and can even protect an agenda without trick of lighting it.
