Efficiency is its own quality

Diogene 4245

Haas-Bioroid is the best at click compression and does one thing that is unique : false agenda points. This is a good deck, solid tier 2 (maybe tier 1.5 if you have the skills), using only in faction cards.

Game plan : Score behind ice and play efficiently.

Mulligan plan : Have an ice in hand.

Efficiency

We have 5 new cards, compared to the last experiment and complete rework if you look at the first experiment, which allows us to get much better results. This is actually fairly good and can race with good runner decks without much issues.

Of special note, Vovô Ozetti is probably the second best economy card, right after Fully Operational in this deck. Really, having 3 of those in any HB deck that has 14+ ices is just as good as having 3 Hedge Fund, probably better.

Unlike Sportsmetal: Go Big or Go Home, which usually focus on doing fast advance from hand, this deck focus on never advance. You put a agenda in the remote with no advancement, to score it next turn. Better yet, we have the only near equivalent to the now extinct Global Food Initiative : Megaprix Qualifier. We can score it for 2 points, while the runner only get 1 point from it! Meaning we win with as low as 3 agendas scored (possibly) and the runner need (usually) 4 agendas (sometime 5). And nobody is playing Mad Dash anymore.

According to the meta, you can swap the number of Hagen and Magnet around. If you see more criminals, Hagen is better. If you see more Anarch (or Arissana), Magnet. Choose according to taste.

The HB card pool is more reliant on assets than NBN, but otherwise about as good as the NBN card pool. The only aspect that was not touched with this deck is Core Damage, which is another unique feature of HB. But a deck that leverage Core Damage work somewhat differently than a deck, mainly because you need to reserve card slots for those Core Damage cards. Maybe someone is interested in the challenge of a Core Damage reliant deck with only in faction cards?

This demonstrate how competitive the HB card pool is. The different cards just work so well together. Like NBN, I think it would not be a mistake to NOT spend all your influence for out of faction cards. You got it all in there already.

Tell me how it went when you tried the deck, I would like to know.

Cheers!
