Unsung Heroes: Quetzal

Soulcow 10

The Unsung Heroes GNK used a format where you were assigned two random corp and runner identity combinations from a pool consisting only of the "least played/popular" ones, about a month prior to the tournament. You had to choose one of the two corp and a runner combinations, and you had to build an interesting deck around your given identities. Rebirth was banned.

I chose Quetzal: Free Spirit as runner, and ended 1st before cut. Quetzal hasn't been that great in the tournament, as there were 2 other nisei divisions - using a ton of code gates, and a builder of nations who made his changelings sentries.

I think it's pretty clear what this deck tries to do, but it needs some tweaking, especially the economy. I usually play criminal, and anarch was a little bit out of my comfort zone.

As I suggested before, considering you're playing Career Fairs anyway, you're probably better off with Liberated Account. I'm not sure if I agree with Earthrise for draw, it's expensive compared to other draw cards in Anarch (Wyldside and/or I've Had Worse). If you really want to streamline the deck I'd suggest dropping the Lampreys, 1 Hacktivist, maybe 1 ImmoScrip (although I LOVE that card), one of the Shards, a Wanton,.. for a combination of Datasuckers and Mediums, maybe with a D4v1d or something. Oh and a third Temüjin Contract > Sneakdoor imho.
