Sage Drip

This deck was created because I wanted to know what it felt like to drip 6 bucks into my credit pool each turn with Underworld Contacts and Data Folding.

E3 is an obvious combo with both Sage and Creeper.

Sageosaurus is pretty great. With all of the memory in this deck on the table and Sage on Dino, Sage gets to strength 13 or something.

Creeper is synergistic with Sage once its in the "cloud".

Dyson Mem Chips are good for Sage's strength, Data Folding, and Underworld Contact and for cloudifying Creeper (which is also good for Sage's strength). A single CyberSolutions is there to push Sage over the stupidly high strength ICE threshold (Curtain Wall, etc).

Lockpicks are good to mitigate some of Sage's costs and install for free with Kate. Cyberfeeder is there to help out Creeper I guess.

Earthrise Hotel helps with draw along side Diesel because lets be honest - this deck needs all of its parts in place.

Sure Gamble, Armitage Codebusting and Daily Casts help round out the economy while you get your sweet drip action going.

2 each of the Interfaces gives you some digging power.

Finally, The Supplier helps take the edge off of all of pricier hardware and all of the Resources.

This deck is terrible against a lot of matchups but I've won with it a few times and its always a good time. It's very traditional Shaper in that it's a late-game bloomer so I've sat and watched more than one NEH Fastrobiotics deck just win while I'm trying to set up.

Fortunately, Creeper can come out early to help with some pressure since it cloudifies itself once you have the link. Sage/Dino can be a bitch to wait for. Sometimes I'll drop a copy of Sage down early and wait to draw another once Dino hits the table. That gets pricey though.

Still - the deck is fun to play!

I like the idea of getting 6 credits a turn: it effectively puts Kati out of a job!

Just as well: Having faced Sage before the 2 credits break subroutine gets heavy pretty quickly without e3 feedback implants. Good to see you didn't fall into the trap of trying to add ALL the memory increasing cards though. Watch out for IT Department and you should be golden.

I'm testing a lot of Sage deck and this is mine. netrunnerdb.com The problems with yours is, in my humble opinion, that the Jinteki P.E. damage will kill you, and I still thinks that a bad draw (like having the Sage but not the Dino) can destroy your strategy.

@Oziride, PE decks don't kill this deck any more than any other deck. Net Shield just eats precious, precious MU. To be honest, I even begrudge Plascrete Carapace a slot in my deck but it's considerably more difficult plan around big chunks of meat damage without one. :(

Dinosaurus is not crutch to my whole strategy. Therefore, I'm all too wiling to drop a Sage without Dino on the table knowing I can install a 2nd copy once I get Dino out. In fact, an early Sage can really put pressure on fast-advance decks who rely on low-strength ETRs like Quandary, Wraparound, and Ice Wall. And since I know I'm going to ditch it later, I'm not as concerned about losing it to a Rototurret or Grim or whatever.

Have you considered adding in Trade-In with Rabbit Holes to get your needed hardware out faster? I would also add in SMC too, possibly.

@shazzner I'd considered Trade-In but haven't figured out a build that fits them yet. If anything, I'd likely toss in one or two copies for when I'm desperate.

I ran Self-modifying Code in an older version of this deck but I find with only 2 breakers (and each a 3-of) it's not usually necessary to tutor something out.
