The Corp uses Poétrï Luxury Brands' ability to install a card from R&D. Is it open information which position in R&D that card came from?
Yes.
The Runner steals an agenda from a remote server. Can the Corp use Poétrï Luxury Brands' ability to install a copy of Byte! from HQ in the root of the server the Runner is breaching, to force the Runner to access it?
The Corp can install a copy of Byte! in the root of the server the Runner is breaching, but they cannot force the Runner to access it. When a card enters the root of a server in the middle of breaching that server, the Runner declares at that time whether the new card becomes a candidate for access or not.
Note: Card visibility during a breach of HQ will be clarified in an imminent update to the Comprehensive Rules. The question and answer below are given according to those updated rules.
The Runner breaches HQ, accesses 1 or more cards that they do not steal or trash, and then steals an agenda, allowing the Corp to install a card from HQ with Poétrï Luxury Brands. What information does the Corp have to give the Runner about the card they install this way?
Cards that are accessed in HQ should remain visible to the Runner until they leave HQ or the breach ends. If the Corp installs a card that the Runner had previously accessed in this breach, the Runner will see which card the Corp installed. If the Corp installs a card that has not been accessed, the Runner will only know that one of the not yet accessed cards was installed.
Design-wise, Poétrï splits a When-Scored-or-Stolen trigger (like Sportsmetal) into stronger When-Scored and weaker When-Stolen (without the card-advantage or card-selection) triggers. This incentivizes you scoring agendas out (investing in their installation/advancement/protection/etc), while still compensating you for getting stolen from.
I love that NSG has been doing this more (EG. The Basalt Spire).
This HB identity makes EVERY agendas give tempo.
The identity seems made for asset spam, but that is not true. Going glacier is an option, allowing you to build your board state faster.
What the identity disincentive is having load of operations, because those are not usable with the ability. I suggest limiting yourself to 9 operations (or less) to maximize the potential of a useful trigger.
The best asset with this identity is, in my opinion, Nightmare Archive. It allows the corp to extend the game and trigger more often, since negative agenda points forces the runner to steal more agendas to win the game.
Haas-Bioroid card pool has a lot of assets that augment their efficiency, click compression and economy. Score and agenda and put Humanoid Resources on the board to prepare the next turn. Get an agenda stolen and put Regolith Mining License on the board to bounce back on credits. So many possibilities.
Throughout a game, you can expect the identity to trigger at least 3 times and, if you play Nightmare Archive, easily 6 times. This is the equivalent of gaining 3 to 6 over the length of the game, or 1 to 2 more turns worth of installation. If you want to maximize click compression, Poétrï Luxury Brands: All the Rage is the best in the game.
Efficiency is good, but Poetri face competition from some very strong ID such as LEO Construction: Labor Solutions. Also, Thule Subsea: Safety Below slows the runner instead of speeding up the corp, which is worth something also.
I strongly believe that Poetri is an amazing identity, with the potential to be ban worthy. Especially now that (as of 2025-08) Luminal Transubstantiation has been unbanned! This means you could get up to 3 extra turns with Poetri! Talk about speed!
Art is colorful and evoke the fashion industry, but I feel it could show something more flashy. There is an opportunity for amazing alt art here. The quote is splendid and somehow hint at the capacity of Poetri to bounce back and bounce forward. Amazing design!
