Junk DNA Ver.5

After five iterations of this deck, I am finally pretty happy with it.

The Power of Garbage: Reuse is an amazing card in this deck since it will not only earn you 2 credits per card trashed, but also raises the trash cost of assets. If I have a Jackson out and a Reuse in my hand early on in the game, a fairly standard play is to click Jackson for two, then spend the last two clicks throwing Agendas, Cyberdex, Shock!s and unwanted Ice into Archives. Money, money, money.

Refined Tastes: Another classic play is to start building a scoring server and Mushin no Shin your Grindl Refinery into it. Bonus points if you already have it covered with a Hokusai. Gemini and Komainu will usually be costly and annoying enough for the runner to get through, and their only prize for making it to the end is one net damage from Hokusai (which they can't afford to trash because of your identity ability) and a Grindl Refinery (which they also can't afford to trash because of your identity ability). Grindl Refinery is not the most expected choice for a Jinteki deck, so it often catches the runner off guard.

Tidying Up: Aside from Jackson, double Cricks on your Archives will help protect your junk heap. Use Tech Startup to find Jackson if he's MIA. If the runner does run Archives, they will find some some Shock!s and an Cyberdex Virus Suite waiting for them.

Junkyard Gremlins: Imp is obviously anathema to this ID. If you are playing an Anarch (especially Noise), make sure to get Hostile Infrastructure out ASAP to make spending those Imp counters a little more difficult of a decision for the runner.

Swap Meet at the Dump: -Blacklist seems really good given the current meta, but the deck might be better served by Daily Busines Show. -Admittedly, 3 Komainus may be too many Komainus. I'm thinking Lockdown could be a nice alternative as something which could be significantly taxing, set up a kill, and be more difficult to Parasite.

Last, and most importantly, remember to gloat when you tell the runner it will be 13 credits and 2 net damage if they want to trash your Pad Campaign. Have fun!

Errr...

'Another classic play is to start building a scoring server and Mushin no Shin your Grindl Refinery into it.'

But Mushin has to be in a new server!

Still seems like a sweet play none-the-less. Untrashable GRNDL? Yes please!

When I was using Reuse in my IG deck I paired it with Panic Button; Sure, you need to spend the credits to draw up, but the investment was usually better in the end, as Reuse had more targets with which to gain money back.
