The Politics of Swapping (New Leaked MWL)

I have a ton of experience with the shaper faction, but I only very briefly dabbled in playing with Kit, back when I started in 2016. I always found her lack of influence and overrated ability to be a huge hindrance. Recently though, I saw a fun deck list which did well at a Regional, so I figured, eh, why not give it a try.

Turns out, Kit can be a real powerhouse, if you leverage her ability the right way. Inversificator + Kyuban allows you to gain 4 credits when you run a double iced server, which allows you to get some money back from expensive runs. The ice swap ability is of course as powerful as ever, and it is especially good against Surveyor. Move it from the remote to a single iced archives, and enjoy the despair in the corp's eyes. Thimblerig is annoying though.

My major change is taking out the Logic Bombs. Fun idea, but I don't think you want to spend 5 influence on a card that doesn't make you win-more, unless it is by a lot like Consume does for Freedom. Spooned seemed like a natural include, as ice destruction is powerful in general and some of the other cards in the deck like Ika and Kyuban already nudge the corp towards trashing their own ice. Stimhack is obviously broken, only 1 influence, and it lets you bring out Inversificator for free. Turning Wheel is there cause you need a continued multi-access threat and DJ Fenris is there cause he goes in every deck I make nowadays. Haters gonna hate.

I also took the liberty of assuming the leaked MWL is real, and adding a single Clone Chip, which is a lot better than Reclaim. You can add more, but I never needed 2 or 3.

It is a solid shaper shenanigan deck that I am gonna continue testing. Give it a try, and swap-swap-swap the night away.
