Oppa Gagarin Style V0.3a

HEEEEEEYYYYY SEXY LADY!!! OPPA GARARIN STYLE!!!

I've kept this deck private quiet for quite some time. So much time had past that it's now on Version 3a but this is where I wish to begin sharing. This deck is vegan. It's not design to kill. I'm fighting my urges to splash in some damage but I feel this suckers pure pain comes from taxing. My 3-point agendas are there to annoy the runner(Utopia Fragment) and award me(Eden Fragment). Oaktown Renovation is there to make money along with my assets.

The key to this deck is to make it ungodly expensive to run my remotes. Encryption Protocol makes damn near everything untrashable. Unless I'm playing against Whizzard, no one is gonna want to trash a PAD Campaign with 2-3 Encryption Protocol on the board. Same goes with Ash 2X3ZB9CY. Ash 2X3ZB9CY is there to support my scoring remote and R&D. Tollbooth and Orion are my go to choices for the scoring remote. Lotus Field and Pop-up Window over R&D. The barriers can be placed anywhere need be, with exception to Meru Mati, that gets installed on HQ.

Suggestions are welcomed.

I would totally embrace the "C'mon, trash it." aspect of the deck and replace the Capital Investors with a third Private Contracts and an Executive Boot Camp or a third Tech Startup.

@PurinaBisonChow That's an idea. Executive Boot Camp could help me early rez things on the cheap. Including ICE. Any particular reason for dumping Capital Investors? It's an excellent econ card that's almost an auto-include within Gagarin Deep Space: Expanding the Horizon.

I think it's just not taxing enough to trash, even with the extra couple. Prepaid Kate can make large sums of money and you need every economic advantage you can take.

@GameOfDroids to which are you referring?

Let's go ahead and be honest. Gagarin, built with this strategy, is never going to beat a Prepaid Kate runner. Prepaid Kate runs too efficiently and too rich. Just look at the debate of Capital Investors vs Private Contracts. If you want to run Capital Investors, you need to protect it because that trash cost of 3c is just a tiny speed bump for Prepaid Kate who can gain 9c from a single Lucky Find if they're up and running. Even Private Contracts is only 6c to trash, but that's still harder to swallow. The answer comes down to, how well will you be able to protect to? Will you consistently get to 5 clicks of the asset before the runner trashes it? That's about where I see the break point. If you can, go for Capital Investors. If you can't, make it extra painful for the runner to trash it by going with Private Contracts.

@PurinaBisonChow I've already been trying out different builds that include either one Capital Investors or none at all. It's likely that it will get cut completely.
