Andromeda the Librarian

Shannon.L 117

This deck has a few moving parts - but the joy of it is that any of the moving parts can be modularly added as gameplay requires it.

Your first goal, however, is to set up your library and your economy. Use Career Fairs on Daily Casts by preference, then your library, then Data Folding. Try to get your economy and engine cards out cheaply. Drop LLDS processors when opportunity presents, and draw hard until you've pulled at least two breakers - Femmes are best, but Overmind is your backup.

Doppleganger + Autoscripter are necessary for late game, but are optional early on. You'll want them out as soon as you can manage it, but keep pressure up on the corp.

How does a perfect run work?

First, determine your ideal breaker suite for your target. This assumes Overmind, but I think you can figure out a femme.

Before Turn: Data Folding, Underworld Contact, and Daily Casts give you credits. (usually ~5)

Click 1: Install Overmind. With 3xLLDS, 1 Dyson, and Doppleganger, this should be Str 3 with 5 counters. Autoscripter returns this click.

Click 1 (redux): Install Femme. Choose the appropriate ice. Note that Femme is now Str 5, for breaking sentries.

Click 2; Inside Job OR declare a run. Make your run.

Doppleganger: Get an extra run.

Click 3; Pick up Femme.

Click 4: Pick up overmind.

Public sympathy should be used to pad your hand against damage, and to ensure you can put brackets around your second in-hand femme when the damage comes in.

And, if you run out of options? Levy.

Max link available to you is 4, which, with your constant income, should enable you to shed most traces.

Deck is weak to tags, which may have you sacrificing a breaker to shed a tag. Make sure to Femme past data ravens!

**Notes:

So far, in testing, the deck is 7-1, with the one loss to a Jenteki PE deck that just brutalized me with a double house-of-knives into a Mushin'd Snare behind two ICE - it was a fantastic play. Otherwise, in my local meta, this deck is.. vicious, constantly running twice or more a turn, even in the late game, and accessing whatever server I want with impunity.

It has once absorbed a double-punitive from a three point agenda - and so far not a single SEA Source has landed (4 link, if everything gets out!). Infiltration was added to lessen the impact of those late runs into vicious traps.

All in all? This has been solid. Store tourney soon!

Now 9-1, having played against a Wayland burn deck.

Now 14-1, vs. HB Glacier, Jinteki PE, and our local 4th place regional NBN-NEH.

Now 26-2, vs all sorts of decks.

This thing definitely rewards the runner for playing well, though I have run across several decks at the higher levels of play on Jinteki.net that this thing can't touch.

Then again, i can't figure out decks that /could/ touch 'em, so there's that.
