Kit's Brain on Drugs

BizTheDad 213

I've played around with a few forms of a Kit Spooned deck for quite a while now. It did really well pre-C&C rotation as I included three Same Old Thing's in the deck. Post rotation I initially put it away but came back to it because of how much fun I had playing with it.

I'm starting to think it could compete after this last iteration. Harmony AR Therapy offers some recursion of Spooned. I scoffed at the idea originally because it didn't offer the same consistency as Same Old Thing. After thinking and playing with it some more, I realized that with Harmony AR Therapy I could recur not just Spooned but also the other card that really makes this deck work: Stimhack.

Regarding econ for the deck, over the iterations of the deck I included more and more econ cards because to put it simply, I needed more and more as I kept playing it. The surprisingly good econ card in the bunch: Supercorridor. I get the effect to go off at least three times a game. I am always surprised at how just that small amount of money helps with the temp of this deck.

The other card choices in the deck shouldn't surprise anyone. If anyone chooses to play this, I hope you have as much playing it as I do.

The Gegrselassie include swung it for me, this deck looks absolutely dope.

I'm glad you like it. Yeah, Gebrselassie makes Surveyor servers cry.

In my writeup, I did forget to write about one card in particular: Hernando Cortez. I think that card should be in every Shaper deck. I've seen Hernando equalize more economy mismatches... I think he's very underrated.
