I've never been so sure about a deck being tier 1 as I am about this one.

I can attest to the pain of faceplanting an Assassin. Definitely a scary card that players need to keep in mind at Worlds. I really like this ice suite, especially the single IQ

Do you feel the 17 ice is a bit low for a deck that is trying to protect money assets, central square and a scoring server? Also why 2 cybersex with no fast advance options?

welcome to the 1 assassin club Ben, we've been waiting for you.

Still undecided on 1 vs 2 in blue sun, but 1 is clearly the right number for ETF.

No love for Team Sponsorship? I've been loving this 9-agenda suite lately, requiring 4 agendas for the runner Vs 3 for the corp is a superb advantage.

TS is more appropriate in fast advance where you're also gonna score 4 times. Every spare slot here will be archived memories instead, chiefly because of caprice. (It does no good to TS back your caprice after scoring...)

Does it make sense to go up to 2x Caprice? It's hard to score vs PPVP Kate if you don't find a single Caprice...

what would you cut for it? i'm already 1 under the ideal number of ice

One possibility is

+1 Marcus Batty +1 Susanoo +1 Turing +1 Wall of Static

-2 Tollbooth -1 Crisium -1 Wraparound

Alternatively, replace Crisium Grid with Recruiting Trip.

honestly, tollbooth is a better card for beating kate than caprice.

the way I win as kate is not by out-moneying the corp and running through tollbooth repeatedly and paying through ash traces all the time. it's by denying the corp to have a remote at all, by making lady to break eli, cycy to pass turings, and using sucker+parasite to kill tollbooth. kate is not actually as rich as people seem to think.

CVS is really the glue here that ties together the kate matchup, together with the GFI agenda suite enabling low-stakes remote plays that knock kate out of her tempo. I don't see the kate matchup as bad at all, and would rather shore up my centrals with crisium than strengthen my already-great remote.

iow, 5 protection upgrades is one too many, and caprice is not enough better than ash that it's worth crippling the ice suite for.

btw I see that assasin is pretty good, but why play it over ichi 2.0?

You're happy to rez it on a no-programs-installed facecheck. And not clickable is very relevant against noise. Basically a strict upgrade imo.

So why 2xGFI and not 3x? I always have trouble finding one, and then I have to decide whether to risk scoring 2 agendas, or waiting for one GFI.
