Start up PD with occasional surprise death

This is a pretty strong Start Up deck. Is it better than regular PD? Probably not. Does it wrong-foot a lot of runners? Yes.

You win most games by scoring out, but you definitely win a few by the runner faceplanting into damage they didn't expect and didn't prepare for. And often the scoring out is because one or two early surprises render them so cautious they don't challenge you enough.

The important thing about this deck is that everything might be damage. It probably isn't, but it might be. The damage package is only 4 cards though, so the runner has to charge in like you're regular PD, because mostly that's exactly what you are.

Obviously you're making a lot out of the runner not knowing your list, but it's a Catch 22 even if they do. They can't afford to play like they would against Jinteki, but there's a good chance that at some point they'll run into one of the very good reasons why that faction encourages caution.

Your identity supports the homeopathic smudge of danger you're running by recurring it. Seamless Launches are great of course, but honestly, nothing feels better than making the runner watch as your single Snare! returns to HQ. Again.
