I piloted this deck to 2nd place in the Atlanta Store Championship (44 people) at Gigabytes café. This deck is patient, straight forward and unstoppable. It went undefeated in swiss and picked up it's only loss in the top two (and my opponent was lucky to win that match). The premise is simple: Build up ice and fast advance agendas to win. You usually spend each turn installing a card and taking two credits. You make the runner break into every server they intend to run and use Archived Memories to bring back whatever you need most, be it Biotic Labor, ice trashed by parasites or Daily Business Shows. The real keys to the deck are the NEXT Ice and Daily Business show. You force the runner into running into your NEXT ICE by putting them on the central server that the runner is focusing on most and putting them in front of Daily Business Shows and San San City Grids. You rez them immediately. The goal is to get enough NEXT Ice rezzed to make them extremely painful to run while you use your Daily Business Shows to cherry pick the cards you need from your deck. The deck performs extremely well against most criminal decks relying on Security Testing since you make it not worth the effort to run your servers pretty quickly. This deck takes some time but you should be able to play your turns pretty quickly.

Similar deck to what I've been playing recently so congrats to you for keeping HB high up in the rankings at a tournament (heard alot of HB disparagers lately). Did you play much Noise at the tournament. He's unfortunately big in my meta (and on OCTGN apparently ...) and wonder how those games went for you? At first glance, the money looks a bit light given only hedge funds outside of HB money and clicking for credits. With each agenda costing 6/7 to FA did you find any issues with money? What did your centrals/remote (if protecting san-sans) look like by mid-game rezzed in terms of cost? |
The deck has been updated by replacing 3 Pop-up Windows with a third SanSan City Grid and two Rototurrets. I'm not 100% certain that's the right choice. It could go either way.
