x3r0h0ur convinced me PW is stronger with all the bad publicity coming out and I agree after the tournament Saturday. I went with 3 PW and hostage to dig out kati/PC or John if I have the others. I saw John twice at the tour nay and he was good, both times it was for criminal but I want to see if he helps as much here. Single programs to dig or recurse as needed. Test run/scavenge was gold in the tourney and I constantly wished I had a third of each. Dyson chip for MU/Link. I would like to get 2-3 rabbit holes if my meta winds up having a lot of NBN and/or trace. I'm not sure what to cut. Dinosaurus was a dead card in the tourney for me. I don't have the influence for another console. Constructive criticism welcome. Thanks.

If you like link, and are already using it, bump to 3 hostages and settle for 1 HQ access...and put in underworld contacts. You're already using draw + hostage to find 2 other connections, adding in 3 will increase the efficiency and make hostage nearly never a dead draw.

The toughest decision will be "which connection to get" In my experience with link decks, procontacts is correct if you have no link or UWC in your opening hand. Get your 1 link up, and start hostaging and digging like mad for the rest of your UWC, that 3c per turn is nothing to sneeze at. Hostage can pull John M, Kati, Pro contacts and UWC, thats some serious utility!

If your meta isn't heavy on tollbooth, ZU will help you save MU and he only costs 1 to install (so free!), and is nearly as efficient as Gordian, which installs for 4. Sure with DMC you'll have lots of MU, but I think at the listed quantities, zu would go along way to letting you install SMC to get that last piece of the puzzle up and running comfortably. I agree rabbit hole would be a tastey addition in a meta with lots of trace (NBN is getting big these days, just 1 rabbit hole and you've offset the MN identity entirely, with a full rabbit hole, anything with trace on it is blank against you, and sea source gets tougher too!).

+1 hostage +3 UWC +1 Dyson +1 to make UWC work, not sure where your cuts would be, probably HQ interface, MAYBE 1 PW, but I love it so much now, sure gamble feels iffy, but might be the boost you need out of the gate, so thats questionable. I'll land on

-1 HQ interface -1 scavenge -3 diesel (diesel is desynergistic with procontacts IMO)

If you feel super saucy, since you're using classic breakers, Toolbox becomes a nice addition, the recurring 2 credits help A LOT (pays for the stupid thing in 4 runs, working with bad pub on personal workshop, maybe less!), and 2 link, right there with 2 MU. Modded might be necessary if you don't find a PW in time, so if you want tool box -3 sure gamble +3 modded, then find a slot for toolbox. Modded also works perfect with R&D, gordian, a little with Femme, and to a lesser extent atman. You don't lose the tempo of 3 (4) credits, and it saves you an install click, its really quite the economy card (better than SG if you want to install lots).

OH and if you're using workshop, realize its desynergistic with kate's ability, so never late the last counter expire on a shop, because the auto install will eat your kate's ability. I had it in kit, so it worked. Be sure to finish off PW items mid (your) turn.

I forgot all about UWC. Thanks! I like your ideas. I already added in another dyson and decided on the Zu.13 but I had a mimic and third data sucker instead of the HQ. I'm debating the third hostage vs mimic mostly. I really like mimic but I could stick with test run/scavenge/femme. I've been debating modded over SG and I think its worth it I had already dropped one PW so I'm hesitant to put a toolbox in. I'll redo the deck and see if I can squeeze the TB in. Thanks again.
