What happens when resolving a subroutine on Lycian Multi-Munition with Nanisivik Grids ability?

The text of the subroutine is executed, but Lycian Multi-Munition will only have its printed subtypes in Archives, so none of its subroutines will have any effect.

What happens when resolving a subroutine on Lycian Multi-Munition with ZATO City Grid’s ability?

By the time the text of the subroutine is executed, the effect granting additional subtypes to Lycian Multi-Munition will have expired, as it is no longer rezzed after being trashed by ZATO City Grid. Therefore, none of its subroutines will have any effect.

Do Lycian Multi-Munition’s subroutines still exist if the Corp did not choose the relevant subtype?

Yes. The subroutines may have no effect, but they still count towards whether or not the Runner fully breaks the ice, get resolved as “ Do 1 net damage.” by Tsakhia "Bankhar" Gantulga’s effect, and so on.

What happens when the Runner installs Hush on a rezzed Lycian Multi-Munition?

The Lycian Multi-Munition keeps the subtypes the Corp chose when it was last rezzed as long as Hush remains hosted on it. The Lycian Multi-Munition will no longer derez itself at the end of a turn.

Reviews

A vicious early game ICE, it is extremely flexible but needs tech like Vovô to keep paying for it economical. Sentry subroutine is extremely useful against every killer except Afterimage. Synergises well with Working Prototype and Thunderbolt, especially against Tsakhia "Bankhar" Gantulga, and against Slap Vandal by itself. NEXT Activation Command can make it a strong mid game ICE, and even a viable end game ICE against poorly set-up Arissanas. Mostly useful as a surprise (and nothing else) outside HB, but the current Shaper meta and the loss of Formicary mean that those Thunderbolt rez-derez decks, or any other HB deck using those effects, containing Stegodon and this ICE were basically killed in their cradle.

Useful against what? Don't leave us hanging mid-sentence xD btw an interesting reprint of Chimera

Ah damn. Forgot the review was incomplete...

At the beginning of the card, this card is amazing! You can choose the correct type without a problem. Its self derez effect makes this ice expensive to use, unless you are also playing Vovô Ozetti. Paying 1 for a (possibly) 3 subs ice is fairly good. But 3 is too expensive.

This ice is obviouly meant to be played in Thunderbolt Armaments: Peace Through Power, where it would consistently get a 4th subroutine and +1 strength. Again, good if you have Vovô Ozetti.

Of note, those subs matters. And possibly getting 2 subs to fire makes this even better.

Considering all this, it is a fun idea for an ice, but will be a low priority ice (unless you are playing Thunderbolt Armaments: Peace Through Power). There are so many great ices in HB.

The art is trying to convey the effect of the card. The chosen animal (buffalo for barrier, snake for sentry and lion for code gate) actually help understanding the concept of the card. Which is also in the name of the card. Everything combo together really well. Well done!
