When the Crew comes knockin, the Gate is Rockin'. (1st)

Anarch has all the fun stuff. Econ. Draw. General Chaos and Destruction. The Restart format had access to some gnarly Orange cards. This deck used Gateway, Update, Ashes & RWR. How good is Crew+Charm+Stargate? Hosh was undefeated in the event. Charm+Crew, and Stargate were MVP's. The build intent is just good stuff Anarch, and there's so much of it. The Keiko + Companions engine is nuts. Even better is ICE destruction that is not RFG. Go the Crew!

The Deck.

Along with Hosh draw value, getting Keiko & pals going early is key to the engine. Because we went with the Ashes cycle we lost access to Steelskins and The Price. The upside was access to Stargate and Devil Charm and one of the best killers in the game - go the Leopard. In terms of slots, the Leeches were surplus to requirements. Carver is enough to deal with 4+ ICE, and Charm+Crew can give a corp pause in rezzing expensive ICE. Stargate closes the game as well as bins key cards.

Playing the Deck:

Generally, Noah's 2year turn article narrates in my head when playing, and this build synchs nicely with his play approach and plan. This deck is fundamental Runner. Establish your board, money up to contest and trash. And the rig can make life uncomfortable for the corp.

Huge thanks to the Melbourne Micro Brewer crew for tourney yapping and just general good vibes. Again, kudos to the hosts and organiser for a fun event.

Netrunner is one of the few reasons for a 50+ old guy to stay till to 3am :D

Awesome Anarch deck! Keiko engine with non-RFG ICE destruction is killer, and Stargate as a finisher? Genius! Like a Retro bowl Hail Mary pass for the win! Charm+Crew sounds like a brutal ICE deterrent. Any thoughts on swapping Leeches for something else, maybe more econ? How did this handle tag-heavy corps?

heyo @ToniAdam cheers mate. Just noticed I've included Mimic in the list, which was removed on the day. Who needs 3 killers?? I didn't bump into Tagstorm corps on the day. Generally, you want to stay above 8creds and have a Fermenter ticking over to deal with a Big Oppo. In terms of slots for Leech, we can add Fencer to deal with asset decks, a 3rd Gach, 1 additional Lib Accs and/or Casts. Spare slots can be allocated to econ or multi-access cards :)
