Restoring Perfection

This deck spawned from a several thoughts: - "Jinteki has a lot of good 3 sub ice, which is nice versus the Boat." -"I want to play a regular, PD-style fast glacier deck out of Jinteki" -"I miss RP"

So that's where this came from - a fast moving, "score in a remote" deck that builds inevitablity through end the run effects, in a way that reminds me of my favourite Caprice Nisei/ELP decks of old (albeit without the strong asset economy that made those decks really sing).

I first tried this in Aginfusion, but the economy felt too tight and I just decided I don't like AgInfusion. Now that Palana's gone, Restoring Humanity is the most "normal" Jinteki ID so that's what I switched to. But I'll be honest, the ID is the weakest part of the deck. It'll net you maybe 5 credits a game and sometimes force the Runner to waste time, which is certainly nice, and the deck size helps, but if the Jinteki ID in Parhelion is at all econ-focused, I won't be surprised if you can just straight swap it.

The basic idea here is get some money, build a remote, ideally get an Anoetic and La Costa in it, and start scoring. If your money is good, score Nisei MK 2. If your money is bad, score Offworld instead. Ideally only score Obokata to finish out the game, although if you've got a La Costa in a strong remote and nothing better to do, you can leave an Obo cooking there for a couple turns while you draw, make money and protect centrals. The ideal play is to La Costa + Seamless to score a 4/2 and then immediately install another 4/2.

Bio Vault is here because it fits, but I haven't found the best use for it. It's a bit awkward with the Never Advance plan of Seamless and La Costa. I think the best way to use it though is to just Install Advance so that it looks like an Obo or NGO Front. If they don't run, great - advance it next turn. If they do, you've forced a bad run.

3x Subliminal because it works well with the ID, Hansei, Anoetic and Anemone. I also just really like it as a card and always have. But you could go down to 2. One tip: If you have a Subliminal and Hansei in hand, don't play the Subliminal, just sacrifice it to the Hansei. You'll get the same number of credits if your ID ability wasn't already turned on, and you'll save having to trash a more important card.

No NGO Front because of the aforementioned Bio Vault awkwardness, but it's probably a good call and you should try it if you want to.

Border Control was a late inclusion based on another player's recommendation, and it really fits well with the game plan. Other options are Bran 1.0, Endless EULA, Fairchild 3.0, Eli 1.0 and IP Block.

Instead of Bio Vault (or with it), do you think Hyoubu Precog Manifold could give you a scoring remote to complement Border Control? If you go that way, you could be a bit faster and skip using La Costa Grid.

Thanks for sharing!

I think swapping Bio Vault for Hyobou is totally reasonable, but I don't think it would change the La Costa inclusion. La Costa is just extremely useful for scoring agendas.
