Deck valid after Sixth Rotation |
You are the runner. The corp has barely protected centrals. Server one has decent but not impenetrable defenses, but the card inside is being advanced every turn. Do you use your pinhole to stop the advancement? Do you access the card being advanced and risk flatline? Do you leave the card in the server and risk flatline at the start of their next turn?
Are they trying to score a pseudo Government Takeover with Beale? If so, do you win off of centrals before it hits 13 counters or do you leaving on the assumption it's a trap?
It's time to play Beale or No Beale
I brought this to the Montreal GNK to play silly flatline games. Is it good? No, I'm sure there are better versions of this deck out there. Is it mine? Yes. It is fun, also yes.
The deck is 40 cards because nothing matters other than doing the funny thing. If I'm not advancing Beale, Urtica or Clearinghouse, then I'm not truly living. I found in testing that at 44 it was hard to consitently get ice AND one of the cards in question, so I sacrificed economy assuming that people will fear R+ at a GNK. Turns out I was right and got two wins: one through clearinghouse and one through Urtica.
