This is going to be the de jure tech card for years to come. It efficiently solves multiple problems, whether that's checking for agendas in tall remotes, trashing defensive upgrades, or eliminating early econ assets. It's also especially good for Apoc/DD decks to get rid of Crisium. I think every runner deck can run 1-2 of these and feel happy about the decision.

Honestly a bit surprised it's only 1 influence.

This card does a LOT of work.

  1. It's one of the best options for trashing killer assets like Rashida or Daily Quest, even better than Boomerang (Pinhole is a click cheaper, a $1 cheaper, and can sidestep multiple ice). Early game, the efficiency is noticeable. It also handles exotic situations like Anansi and Acme Data Wards much better.
  2. This is probably the best expose or expose-like effect printed in years. You save a lot of money every time you *don't* have to run on a scoring remote. Only Falsified Credentials comes close for gathering intelligence, and Pinhole works harder to keep a scoring remote from getting out of hand.
  3. Pinhole's solid if you need to snipe a key upgrade like Anoetic Void or Mamegarm Skunkworks on a server of death. (It also makes it much easier to land Apocalypse on a player who has Crisium Grid installed, this is probably collateral damage).
